Don & Hope(and family): Congratulations on a new(I would say little, but that would be a lie) baby! I bet all are glad it is over and everyone is healthy! Here's to the newest Bragg member and a Green Bay Packer fan to boot!

Congratulations Hope and Don (and family)! He looks like a "keeper"! And a month early - wow! Hope - rest up, because soon it will be time to send our little boys to kindergarten. Who will cry more - Moms or sons?

Their first "hunt"

Beth and Stephen participated in their first "hunt" today... With Hope and Kenny gone to see the new Harry Potter movie, and the Wisconsin Badgers victorious against Michigan, I had some time to kill this afternoon. This morning, I took Kenny along with me on a hunt on our hunting lease property south of town. Stephen protested that he wanted to go along, but there was no way I could take a noisy 3-year-old with any possibilities of doing any real hunting (Kenny and I saw 4 deer this morning, including one buck, but no shots). I had to leave Stephen behind then, much to his chagrin. Well, this afternoon, the weather was nice, so I figured I'd take both Beth and Stephen out for a drive along the gravel road that leads through the leased area. We didn't see any deer (don't worry, y'all, I didn't even take my gun, and the kids didn't get out of the truck), but I think they had fun, and they can claim their first "hunt"!

New look...and a Valentine's card

I have decided to "upgrade" my Blogger account to the newer Google-based option, which doesn't seem to mean much of a difference. However, in doing so, I decided to go with a new look just to spice things up. Speaking of spicy, here's a Valentine card from Kenny and Beth--Kenny used one of his kid's art programs on his computer to generate the picture, and suggested the nature of the text, even though I typed it in. Hopefully, this card warms those of you in the frozen north...
