September activities
September has always been one of my favorites months of the year...Growing up in northern Wisconsin, September meant fall colors and cooler temperatures (not so much the case this year in Arkansas), as well as my birthday, the beginning of football season, etc. Twenty-three years ago, I also got another reason--Hope and I got married! Above is a picture of us celebrating this anniversary after an afternoon of shopping. In our more recent life, September means the beginning of marching band season as well...Below, Hope, our friend Claire, and her daughter Eva enjoy the action before the band: Actually, Monticello's high school football team is in the midst of a prolonged slump, so there hasn't been a lot of football action to enjoy: Thank goodness Monticello has an excellent high school band!
