Believe it or not, Beth was a little camera shy before we convinced her to show off her new video game toy (which will hopefully help keep her entertained on the drive up north).
Tonight was Kenny's last t-ball game for the season, and for his "career"--after this point, kids his age play baseball with a pitching machine before they move onto kids pitching the ball to them. Kenny seems to have had a lot of fun this season, and he played better as the year went on (as did most of his teammates).

If Kenny wants to play ball next season, he'll have to try out and earn a spot on a team. I think he's got a reasonable shot at making it--he can field and throw as well as the other kids his age, his batting is getting better (he even does okay hitting a thrown ball), and I think he's figured out what the game is about. He'll need to practice more and focus more, but I think he'll do that okay, too. But that's enough about that...Kenny's
lovin' the here and now, as he was eating pizza with his team at the season-end party...
Stephen's still indifferent at this stage, but he was a little trooper all season, sitting through the heat and the dust...

All the kids got trophies, and I think Kenny really earned his this year (and judging from the smug grin on his face, he does, too!).

This will probably be my last post for a while as we travel up north. We'll visit Lisa and her family this weekend, and then it's off to Mom and Dads.
